Just finished up my latest build, a Pine Body Guitar. This guitar started out in life as a pine shelf. It now has a 25” scale with 24 frets, Mother of Pearl fret position markers, Jumbo fret wire, Rosewood fingerboard, the neck is Oak and I gave it a scarf joint at the headstock then I finished it all off with a vintage style lipstick pickup. The shelf was only 3/4 thick so I cut and glued two pieces together to make the body thick enough. While the halves were separated, I routed out a cavity for the pickup and wiring.
