Just found out that my new MRI quailified me for a hospital in Dallas,Texas that can fix all the problems in my lower back from T1 all the way down to S1.There is no hospitals around Tennessee that does this procedure which is done in 45 minutes through a place no larger than an inch. They use a camera and laser starting up through the tailbone and up to the all the bulged disk,scar tissue,spinal stenosis,tears,herniations, and relieve the pressure on the nerves,It takes only 3 days for preop,the procedure the 2nd day and the 3rd day, you are on your way home. They are renown surgeons in hospitals 6 different states that do this. I have taken all the information to my doctors here and let them review all my information and the dvd on how it is done and they all agree that I need it.It is an answer to our prayers.There is no further help here or in Tennessee that can help me now. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers that this will work out for us.Medicare and my other insurance will not cover it so we are doing all we can to make sure we have the means to make it there,have it done and get home. I will not know what it is like to get out of chair,bed or even the car w/o hurting. I just had to share our news,I got the call yesterday. If anyone else needs help,the site is North American Spine.
