Just found the best explanation for being a pc gamer Heres the standard timeline. Console Gamer: Ha, we got the game and you dont. PC Gamer: Itll come. CG: Well you have a small market so maybe not. (Not true but thats the reasoning) *Later* PCG: Wow, it just looks so much better doesnt it? Crisp textures and better distance and more environmental effects and npcs. Like a whole other game. CG: Well...at least we already have the expansions. And we can sit on our couch and play! *Later* PCG: The expansions *and* a whole mess of mods that make the game look even better than your low res piece of shit, and tons of new gameplay. Im flying my own DeLorean, wheeee! CG: Well at least I didnt spend 1000 dollars on my console! PCG: I just upgraded my video card and got another stick of ram. $200 total. How much did that console cost again? CG: Errr... *Later still* CG: That games old anyway. PCG: Not with the material our community puts out. CG: Hey, a trailer for GTA VI! PCG: *Sigh*
