Just had to share my crazy great experience of the night... Many of you know that I have a feature film, that I acted in, coming out called House of Manson. Being that the our film is based on very serious and sensitive actual events, and people, I worked very hard to research anyone, anything, and everything that might be important to accurately portray Leslie Van Houten. This being the case, I learned about and listened to The Beatles (especially The White Album) every chance I got and memorized their songs. Cut to this evening... I worked at The Hollywood Improv. We had two comedy shows this evening. In the 8pm show a comic mentioned The Manson Family in his routine, which Id never heard anyone do before, and just thought it was an odd coincidence to my working on a film about them. Then, Paul McCartney came to watch the 10pm show. I thought it was so cool but didnt expect to ever speak with him. As he was leaving, he said, Thanks so much for everything, Guys! I was the only one who heard him. I smiled and replied back, Thank you so much! He then gave me a smile, a wink, and a nod. I cant believe I just spoke with Paul McCartney tonight.
