Just spent two months just at the top of the Raton Pass, New Mexico, in Trinidad, Colorado. Played guitar with a group at a Health Food store and the mandolin player was a Dr.of radiology, living in Raton, he asked to play my guitar, and I ask where he was from and of course he said Bloomington, In. and I said Bloomfield, In. good times. Hes Father taught English at IU. Played great Jazz, told me that when he was in Bloomington he go over to the music school and listen David Baker teach music classes. Bloomington is like athletes foot, it always comes back.
