Just taking a breather with The Way We Were the 1973 American romantic drama which starred Barbra Streisand and Robert Redford directed by Sydney Pollack. It tells the tale of Katie Morosky and Hubbell Gardiner. While their recognizable differences are immense her being a vociferously vocal Marxist Jew with strong anti-war opinions, and he a carefree WASP (White Anglo-Saxon Protestant) with no particular political focus they are nonetheless drawn to each other.
