Just thinking.... At one point all these guitarplayers were doing solo albums and there were a whole bunch of guys who were true wizards on the six string. I mean, almost anyone is familiar with Ed Van Halen, Steve Vai, Malmsteen, Satriani, Randi Rhoads and then all those that got not so much known for their virtuosity but more so for great riffs or songwriting like Iommi (ofcourse), Dimebag Darrel, Richie Blackmore, Angus Young and well I could go on forever but what are todays guitarplayers that are on top of their league? Anyone (besides Matt Pike that is! :) ) (Oh and I dont mind listening to Malmsteen every once in a while...)
