Just thinking about the message on Esther this morning at Worship. Hmm. Esthers true identity, although humble, being hidden, for a reason, by choice, through beauty and priveldge. The contrast of Jesus, whos true identity was also hidden, by choice, also for a reason, clothed in shame and humility. In both situations it was necessary for eyes of faith to truly see through, and wait for the proper timing for The great reveal, (so to speak), - in which case of the latter, were still waiting in part :) Although Esther was being asked to speak up for such a time as this, Jesus on the other hand, although having all power to speak a word and stop the process, chose not to, to fulfill His intended purpose, even rebuking Peters attempt to defend Him. Its so funny, life, situations, people. We just never know! For such a time as this?? Are we in the process somewhere? Being asked to Step up? Stand down? How can we truly know??. I guess the only way to know is to be led in the Spirit, avaiable to Truth and Divine Reason, willing to heed to wise counsel :) .. Lord We just cant do this without You.. which is the way I guess You said it should always be! Help us Lord, to be willing to hear!
