Just wanted to give everyone an update on my father! My mom has told me that the vascular surgeon is keeping him on a strict no liquids/food diet until at least tomorrow morning, as well as they are giving him heparin and pills to try to thin his blood and avoid surgery. Since he woke up with his hand and arm already numb, they want to see if the same thing happens in the morning and I am assuming surgery options will be discussed after this observation period. My dad is brig his normal, cranky self right now, which (if you know my dad) is a good sign(lol)..... So please continue to keep him in your thoughts and updates will be given as we get them.....
