Just wanted to update; Today marks 3 weeks since my foot surgery. Im still under the no weight bearing restriction, which is miserable. Im ready to walk again - even if it is in the surgical boot for 8 weeks. That sounds dreadful. Im having some nerve pain at the incision area and also on a blood blister caused from my splint being too tight for a week. The doc has some compound cream the pharmacy is making and supposed to be delivered tomorrow to see if it helps. So theres some minor issues that might inhibit me from returning to work on Monday, well just have to wait and see if it improves. Im ready to return strictly from boredom, but cant work the 9, 10 hr usual days right at first. Gotta go easy and give the foot the proper healing time. Not sure when Ill be able to drive so my poor son and hubby will be my transportation to & from. I owe them big time for that and for helping me with Everything. And my sweetheart of a daughter who comes by almost every day to bring Skylar over to make Nana happy. Thats all I need. Skylar smiles, hugs & kisses. Thanks Krys for all that you have done to help me. I owe you as well. But on a positive note - I can now soak my foot, back to the hour long baths that I Love. Yay! And Im now on Season 3 of Once Upon A Time (my new addiction) Good Night, Love you all.
