Kaitlyns doctor in Sioux Falls and the bone marrow transplant doctor at the University of Minnesota Childrens Hospital have been in discussions and depending on the results of her upcoming bone marrow biopsy Kaitlyn may go through one more round of chemotherapy before proceeding with the bone marrow transplant. They want to be absolutely positive that the leukemia is gone to give her the best fresh start with the transplant. Ideally this would result in a better success rate!! We are currently waiting for Kaitlyns WBCs to increase so she can get a chance to go home for a bit before the biopsy. Keep lifting her up in your thoughts and prayers!!
