Kandidat presiden Prabowo Subianto mengatakan Rabu malam bahwa Presiden Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono telah meminta dia untuk menjaga perdamaian dan ketertiban serta mencegah konflik horizontal yang terhubung ke perbedaan dalam hasil quick count dari pemilihan Rabu. Hal ini sudah komitmen kami dan kami telah terus-menerus menginstruksikan pendukung kami untuk tetap tenang, menahan diri dan tidak terprovokasi, kata seorang Prabowo biasa tenang wartawan di luar kediaman pribadi Yudhoyono di Cikeas, Jawa Barat, menyusul pertemuan dekat-tengah mereka. Tapi kami juga menyampaikan bahwa jika calon presiden No 2 [Joko Jokowi Widodo] terus melakukan aksi di lapangan, akan ada perang persepsi atas yang telah memenangkan pemilu. Sementara mengatakan ia akan menunggu hasil resmi dari Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU), karena selambat-lambatnya 22 Juli, Prabowo menyatakan bahwa kubunya telah menerima hasil penghitungan nyata dari beberapa daerah di negara itu menyebut namanya lembaga survei winner.Credible dengan catatan terbukti benar penamaan pemenang pemilihan presiden terakhir di quick count mengatakan Jokowi memenangkan pemilihan presiden dengan sekitar 52 persen suara untuk Prabowo 48 persen.Presidential candidate Prabowo Subianto said late Wednesday evening that President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono had asked him to maintain peace and order as well as prevent horizontal conflicts connected to differences in quick count results from Wednesday’s election. “It is already our commitment and we have continuously instructed our supporters to keep calm, restrain themselves and to not be provoked,” an unusually subdued Prabowo told reporters outside Yudhoyono’s private residence in Cikeas, West Java, following their near-midnight meeting. “But we also conveyed that if presidential candidate No. 2 [Joko “Jokowi” Widodo] keeps conducting actions in the field, there will be a war of perception over who has won the election.” While saying he would wait for the official result from the General Elections Commission (KPU), due no later than July 22, Prabowo maintained that his camp had already received real count results from several regions in the country naming him the winner. Credible pollsters with a proven record of correctly naming the winner of past presidential elections in quick counts have said Jokowi won the presidential election with around 52 percent of the vote to Prabowo’s 48 percent.
