Kathy JonesPrayer-Chain.org 2 hrs · . Heres an update on a Prayer Request I posted a while ago when a former foster care alumni of mines sister went into the hospital. Heres his update: From Rusty Johnson, Long Beach, CA For all those who prayed and have been praying for my sister, Jacquelynn N Johnson James, I cant say thank you enough. The support and love you showed (even through Facebook) reached loud and clear to my sister ...and to me. After being airlifted to Iowa City hospitals, and then after a week or two in the hospital, my sister was returned home and although the infection wasnt pin-pointed, it looked as if the rounds of medicine, transfusions, etc., had paid off and things were looking up. Today she found out that things have not been as weve all thought. Her neuropil count is pretty much at 0, which means she has nothing to fight any infection ...nothing. Her kidneys and liver and not looking good either, and without going into a lot of detail, the condition is extremely serious and at this point she needs everyones thoughts and prayers, and this time even more. I feel helpless and know there wouldnt even be a lot I could do if I was there with her, in Iowa. I can only imagine how my sister and her husband, Shawn feel. The power of prayer is what I can do and Im calling on everyone to please, please do what you can.
