Keep on Riding es mi mi segundo video de este año junto a uno de los riders mas activos de Irlanda y la escena iternacional, Peter Stewart uno de los impulsadores de este deporte en su tierra, vino a pasar unos dias en Xtreme-Gene y no queria perder la oportunidad de capturar su riding. Peter Stewart has been at the top of the ranks since the beginning of wakeboarding in Ireland. Originally traveling to the US and gaining notoriety with a top three finish at the WWA world championships in 2003, he then changed his focus and all but dropped off the world of competitive wakeboarding other than effortlessly winning irish nationals for year after year. His lack of competition in Ireland killed his motivation for the sport and even led him to quit for the 2007 season. Though many strived to match his skill and style it took to the 2009 season for him to notice other riders who could push him to return to his former best however a neck injury prevented him maintaining his former title. After this he started to regain his interest in the sport and with other riders and friends pushing for new trick his spirit and drive for the sport was back on the rise. with this he travelled to the European championships in 2010 at the head of the irish team and claimed a top three finish with a sub par run showing he was still a force to be reconed with. From that point on he has been a true driving force behind most of the irish innovation in wakeboarding including riders pushing beyond 7’s and straight mobes to mobe 5’s and 900’s. Had it not been for this influence Irish and european wakeboarding would not be the same. Check out the video above, he’s still not giving an inch to anyone!
