“Keeping the wrong people out of your ear”. We can’t - TopicsExpress

“Keeping the wrong people out of your ear”. We can’t control what people do to us; however we can control how much importance we put on what they say and do. We trust people, sometimes people betray that trust. We then should take the things back that we entrusted people with. Some betray our trust and perpetually leave emotional scars. We have to pull away, or even ignore the information they offer. We have to choose wisely who we listen to. Getting the wrong people out of your ear, so to speak will help hurdle over the problems. We must change the way we think about ourselves and others in our lives as a way of protecting our hearts. The stresses in life slow us down and distract us. Phillipians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. 9 Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do:and the God of peace shall be with you. Proverbs 4:26 Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established.
