Kendra Skinner asks My son is 3 1/2. Hes severely autistic and completely non verbal. I am having a really hard time getting him to eat. Hes gotten to the point where he wont eat really anything and when he does its unhealthy. He will only eat pizza, spaghetti, fries, chicken nuggets, and a few fruits oranges apples strawberries. Bananas are hit or miss. He used to love them. He also loves cereal and he eats the healthier ones like mini wheats and multigrain cheerios and kix. But i feel like hes not getting enough nutrients. He wont eat any bread yogurt cheese meats other than fried bologna or nuggets...no veggies. Ive tried making smoothies and he refuses those. Wont drink pedialite. He does take a vitamin but i still feel like he should be eating more than processed nuggets and cheetos and cereal. What should i do?? Ive also seen a lot about the gluten free diets but he wont eat ANYTHING!!
