Khaled was the MSA president at U of T when I started my first year of university. I remember him being a source of so much good. He would do reminders after prayers on campus, he presented series of Islamic history seminars, he helped start the orphan sponsorship program (which is still running stronger than ever, more than 10 years later)...Seeing such a positive and larger-than-life motivational human being, motivated me to take leadership roles at the university and elsewhere. Now the team is recognizing these lasting effects on people by encouraging us to pay it forward. This is a great initiative. Im going to try to find a way to #PayitForward4KQ inshaAllah.
