Kick Of The Day! We are sure you all are geared up for the showdown tonight… As tonight one nation will acquire the status of being a world champion in the most followed sport globally! Who could it be? Free flowing Germans or nerveless Argentines? While they are at loggerheads we bring to you interesting common facets and comparisons from the top destinations from these nations’ tourism… Cathedrals and Churches-- While Germany boasts of Kölner Dom, nation’s biggest tourist draw, Argentina possesses Iglesia San Francisco which is a striking magenta and yellow church. Both contain monuments of art and treasure. Monuments-- Germany’s Holstentor is a museum whose red-brick city gate is a national icon & Cementerio de la Recoleta is a cemetery in Argentina and this the amazing city of dead is Buenos Aires’s number one attraction. Trekking-- One can trek through stunning alpine scenery around Lake Königssee in Germany while Argentina has Cerro Aconcagua which is often called the roof of the Americas. Castles-- This is one facet that Germany has and Argentina doesn’t. The fairy-tale Schloss Neuschwanstein appears through the mountaintops like a misty mirage and is the world’s most famous castle, and the model for Disney’s citadel! Beach & Shopping-- The scale of the following is clearly something Germany lacks…Mar Del Plata is Argentina’s prime destination & a one that might make you say ‘Wow this beach is crowded!’ This beach is full of people waiting to be frazzled by the sun! Feria de San Telmo is full of stalls and arcades for shopping and is bedazzled by street performances as well! Beverages-- Germany is known for its beer while Argentina is known for its wine! One can revel in Germany’s raucous Oktober Fest where Bavarian beer, cuisine and culture…Imagine singing along with tens of thousands with beer! Argentina produces some of world renowned wines & one can travel through some of the most prestigious wineries in the Mendoza area! Well these two nations have previously met in a World Cup twice, first time in 1986 when Argentina came on top & the Germans taking the revenge 4 years on… On the eve of end of our edition of ‘Kick of the Day’, we just wish all the best to the Germans & the Argentines, may the best team win!
