Kiyoshi is a wonderful young purebred Shiba Inu currently being fostered in the Austin, Texas area. Shes healthy, up to date on all her vaccinations, spayed, heartworm-negative, and weighs 25 pounds. This precious little thing came to us via a shelter in Oklahoma, and has stolen our hearts since taking her in. Shes playful and gets along great with all our other dogs. She seems to have come from a difficult environment however, as shes still learning how to walk on a leash well, and is a bit nervous about walking up and down stairs, or across rocky ground. Shes making progress with these, fortunately, and will no doubt become a very well mannered walking partner soon. Kiyoshi does have a bit of a coordination glitch at times, possibly from not getting enough exercise when she was younger. And her close-in vision may not be very sharp. She still prances and capers around, though, but sometimes looks just a bit goofy when trying to make off with your shoes! Theres no doubt Kiyoshi will be a great family member and loving companion for many years to come. She may need just a bit of training to make up for lost time, but this will just be part of your journey together.
