LAGOS (A TROUBLED CITY)- High hopes birthed by the news of going to Lagos infested on my appetite yesterday. Lagos is not just a normal city. A city with gold painting and watery buildings. Lagos! These imageries haunted my reasonings so that all I could think of is the beauty of Lagos. Is there a beasty part of Lagos? Lag (as its commonly called) is a 2.30 hours drive from Ijebu Ode where I stay now and too bad we set out around 1pm. No matter how boring the journey seem, I had no dull moment cos I sat beside this most beautiful lady whose beauty tells me love tales. it makes me dream of a fairy present. Anxiety however stole my peace and kept it in the abyss of his pocket. I was so unsettled and this Beautiful Aduke was so sensitive to have Noticed. Her words was a remedy each time this Cold moment peaches on the shoulder of mine Heart. After a long autostrolling, we finally got to Lagos where my real story begins. Eko, your name is no stranger to the penguin whose glory lies in your swamps I was welcomed to Lagos by the gushing of Trekkers whose fro or to movement is like that of a busy Zombie in search of blood. However, my reflexes had adaptive courtesy and I moved on in the zombie sequence. I launched into the deep of Ojota planning a route to favour my Lekki move. After little forming, I gathered momentum and turned my whole into a lost Lagos Fine boy so I had to ask questions. I walked up to a neatly dressed Man standing by Ojota garage and I asked for my Way to Lekki- Wow! he is a heavy smoker..I could even see puffs lingering in turns to for the alphabets of every word he spoke. I listened and at the same time lost myself in the amusement of the wonder man I was talking to. Forget about that man, he is just a diversion to my story. Lagos indeed is beautiful, hustlers struggling for road with heavy automobiles but I wonder where all the Okadas went until I was made to understand that We were on the Highway. So I got into a BRT bus and I thought I would be at CMS anytime soon. A big lie it was, I was still there for close to one hour hissing hissily at my lateness due to the busiCity. BRT is an avenue for sight seeing. I saw swampy areas being filled for buildings and I thought to myself, For Gods Sake, some plant will strive well in swampy areas. Everyone wants money in this City Different class of people got into the bus and beautiful it was to see beautiful faces. The sea caught my attention but I aint there to swim so I had to forgo. To cut my long story short. I thought CMS should be a walk to lekki but a new Travelling it was but that isnt so annoying as the Fare which per time has a way of Wowing my round succulent lips* Dont fall for me, I have a girlfriend! I still danced to the tunes played by Lagos but by this time, my head had started Hammering. My eyes even were complaining of too much seeings. Lagos! Nah only you? I got the Lekki peninsula and im left with the puzzled of trashing out where it was I was going. Every one seem to mind there business in this Part of nigeria. wearing stone faces isnt a goos way to leave in a hectic city though. I finally, amidst thousand, found this man who, firstlymade a pass about my accent, helped in devouring the puzzle of the moment. I got there after much sweating. So there lies the Office of This Pulse.ng people, chai* Well, lets keep the issue of Lagos being a trouble city aside, I got my laptop and had a photo session with my Boss, sir KIS. thank God photos dont tell when people smells all of you would delete the pics if it does. Lagos. Thanks, but still- Troubled water running in the veins of troubled people carrying troubled blood in the name of survival amidst doubtless troubles. © tohquality
