LAST MAN STANDING MATCH - 8 MONTHS IN THE MAKING 8 months ago, Zak Northern was victorious in an over the top rope rumble to become the number 1 contender to the House of Pain heavyweight title. The man he threw out to win that rumble, Roughouse Stevie Mitchell was absolutely livid after the loss. The following month, Northern, as the HOP Full Throttle champion, had the opportunity to become the first person in HOP history to hold 2 title belts at the same time as he went 1 on 1 with Barricade in a clash of the champions. After a hard fought back and flrth match, Northern was unsuccessful, but earned the respect of the then HOP heavyweight champion. Then, as Northern lay exhausted and beat up, Stevie Mitchell picked his shot. Entering the ring and delivering a vicious beating on Northern, injuring his knee in the process. It seemed he had proved his point that he shouldve been in the match instead. He then stole the Full Throttle title. Northern was not seen for 2 months, the whole time Mitchell paraded around with the Full Throttle title, renaming it the Roughouse belt. Northerns friend Gabriel Kidd tried to retrieve the belt over the next 2 shows, but Mitchell always escaped with it. The crowd erupted when Zorthern returned, looking better and more intense than ever setting his sights on Mitchell, his title and revenge. The 2 have been in the ring against each other over the last few months and it seems that nothing has been settled, but then Northern made the challenge. He left it up to Mitchell to choose the stipulation and after changing his mind about 10 times, he has said he wants to beat up Zak Northern with no limitations, to the point where he cant stand up. So, on Sunday 21st September, it will be Zak Northern vs Roughouse Stevie Mitchell, 1 more time, LAST MAN STANDING!!!!
