LEST WE NEVER FORGET I have never felt impressed to post this picture of me in the desert in 2001 before today. Thirteen years ago this morning at 0730, our flight landed at Norfolk Naval Air Station minutes before the first plane struck the Twin Towers. I was returning from my first deployment from an undisclosed location in the Theater of Operation. I was truly divinely blessed to have returned safely amidst all the dangers of that day, however, I experienced an emptiness unimaginable as I stood in the Norfolk International Airport at the moment all planes were grounded across the nation. I somberly realized that the enemy that we had been fighting abroad had now welcomed us home on our own American soil. This Day of Remerberance is always very emotional for me as reflect upon the events of history during that timeframe knowing assuredly that Gods Omnipotent Hand had truly been my shield and protection. May God continue to comfort all those families touched by this horrible tragedy. May He protect all our men and women serving in the military today, home and abroad, and ...........MAY GOD PLEASE CONTINUE TO BLESS AMERICA! We will not tire, We will not falter, We will not fail. FLY....FIGHT....WIN!
