LGC Students Learn From Professionals By LGC Student, Peter Tak LGC students attended Daedeok Valley Youth Venture Forum, which was held at ETRI Convergence Technology Center on November 18th. The keynote speaker Sung-dong Park, chairperson of Satrec Initiative (satellite exporting company) gave a speech on future career development, and the representatives of three outstanding small and medium-sized enterprises in Daejeon area that received Koreas Hidden Champion awards also gave lectures for students: Won-jin Kim, deputy department head of RFsemi on how to select good venture / small sized company, Jae-hong Lee, deputy department head of Optrontec on Hidden Champion, the hidden jewel of Korea, Yoon-sung Hwang, director of K-mac on resume writing for young applicants. There was also a mentoring session with representatives of outstanding venture enterprises during dinner, and the students could directly ask questions and receive practical advices. We hope this forum was helpful for students in selecting their future career goals!
