LIFE ON OUR NUT FARM – TODAY VEERED in an UNPLANNED DIRECTION Adrienne woke around 3:00 AM again, today feeling ill. This ultimately led to nearly the entire day at our local emergency room. Thankfully feeling better, Adrienne is sleeping peacefully now. Michael prepared another wonderful meal for when we returned. He also picked up my father Kenny for dinner. On the menu, roasted pork lion, fresh corn on the cob, roasted potatoes, watermelon, whole wheat Artesian crusty bread, and of course, lots of butter for Kenny. The butter was dripping off his corn and bread! Second night in a row, of incredible home cooked meals. Last night, after Michael’s procedure, he prepared, fresh, Copper River Salmon and all the trimmings. My work plans for today will be resumed tomorrow.
