Labor with a clear majority in the lower house is a very good result! But its still sickening and utterly incomprehensible to me that theres still such a thing as a safe Liberal seat, and people are too selfish, greedy, gullible, stupid and/or apathetic to have given Labor an absolute majority or Greens a clear balance of power in the upper house. Lets destroy the environment, destroy jobs and industry, destroy social, community and emergency services, ensure all profits go offshore to multi-national corporations who pay little or no tax. Make sure that their multi-national construction mates get contracts for destructive, ill-conceived, expensive, environmentally irresponsible road projects that take precedence over urgently needed public transport and efforts to reduce rather than increase traffic congestion, lets ensure that filthy, dangerous coal fired power plants and the mining that feeds them is deemed good for humanity, and lets kill investment, scientific endeavour, and excellence in renewable energy and other advanced technologies. F#$ing hell, the ignorant c#$ts we live amongst! Three upper house seats to the Shooters Party!??? May as well have just voted Liberal.
