Lads, end of season statistical review: TEAM STATISTICS Great season especially as it was our promotion season and our first ever at level 6... Statistically in the league: We were above the average points scored per team this season (610 vs 604.7) and we were also below the average points conceded per team (549 vs 604.7) Our biggest win and our biggest loss came in the last 2 weeks of the season when we beat Peterborough at home by 42 points and lost to Peterborough Lions away by 52 points and our biggest score of the season came when we beat Market Rasen & Louth at home tallying a total of 52 points Across the season including cup games we scored a total of 102 tries, 61 conversions and 20 pens we had 19 sin bins. There were 40 tries scored by 12 individual forwards and 62 tries scored by 14 individual backs. In the league we won over half of our games, with only 2 teams beating us home and away (Derby & Peterborough Lions) we won 77% of our home games only losing 3 to the three teams that finished above us. Away from home we won 46% of our games losing to a range of teams. In the knockout competitions we reached the semi-finals of the Alliance cup and the Lewis shield narrowly being beaten by Olney in the Lewis and enduring a true battle at the ON’s in the alliance.
