Lafayette lost a legendary leader yesterday. Dr. Griff Blakewood, who was instrumental in leading a group of young UL students in the Save the Horse Farm campaign, passed away while surrounded by the love of his family and friends. Anyone who knew Griff realized that he was an enlightened human being, a force of life with such a passion for imploring people to reconnect with nature, and with each other, for a more beautiful, sustainable future. Rest in peace, Griff. You will be missed.
