Land, labour, capital & entrepreneurship are the factors for enterprise; less than a 100K people have a mafia like control on land &capital. Unless we fix the real estate sector & access to capital to make it both equitable &fair, impossible to enable innovation. The mess in real estate sector is at the bottom of most maladies. It cant be treated as a normal purchase as one commits almost all of ones lifetimes savings and is then at the mercy of the developer to fulfil his part of the promise. They, then work in collusion with politicians, bureaucrats, media and play on a field totally unfair to the self respecting buyer who finds it extremely tiring to engage in a cumbersome legal process and hence succumbs to their exploitation. Priya Didi of the Indian National Congress party turned out to be a myth and the buyer continues to be at the mercy and exploitation of the developer. Will this change? I am willing to forgo my savings and build the fight - just like many others have. Narendra Modi ji I am sure you will make it fair & honourable to buy property.
