Last Dawn of Spring. 2014, I arose early on this last day of spring. I drove in partial darkness, ignoring the green glow of the Aurora Borealis on the northern horizen. I had to be somewhere very early. I had to reach the Mule Ranch up on Mill Creek Pass and set up before the first color of dawn crested the eastern vista. I never know what to expect when I set out so early in the morning, so, I have come to expect nothing but what each adventure will bring. I can say that this morning took my breath away as it unfurled its palette of color. The morning light grew and surrounded me until I didnt know which way to point the camera. I tried my best to condense this experience into the phases as I saw them.
