Last Tuesday morning EC2 parents were invited into school for a family picnic. This was a celebration of learning at the end of their current unit for Who We Are. The students had work on display in different languages and also had a range of activities for their parents.These included painting, creating a textured collage, goop trays, planting seeds, a glitter table and an area to decorate your own biscuits. Families brought along picnic food which was shared on the rugs and tables set up outside the classes, with plenty to go round. During the unit the students have been finding out what families like to do together, how they spend their time and how our families are the same and different. The picnic morning was an enjoyable way to bring all the aspects of their learning together. Thank you to all staff and parents who made this event even more successful.
