Last evening three lovely ladies from Tulsa came into my place of business (Dance Universe/ Six Eleven) in downtown Joplin. They had a great time trying on clothes and just chit-chatting. They also made purchases. I was there an hour past closing and then told them to please go to Club 609 for dinner, because they would truly enjoy the atmosphere. While signing her cc receipt, one of them commented, We almost didnt make it down here. Of course I inquired why or was there a problem. She said, Well...honestly, we were given some bad advice. Someone told us,Theres just not much to see downtown.! Of course I thanked her for not listening to them and they went on their merry way. If you are one who believes theres Just not much to see downtown then you havent been downtown in a looooooooooong time. Come on JoMO, lets support one another.
