Drifted through his 20-30s, not always on the right side of the law, but never involved in anything too serious. At 40, he was forced to take care of his mother who had begun to suffer from dementia. This exposure to patient care led him to his current career as a senior orderly, supervisor. He found out, to his surprise, that he was good at this, that he enjoyed helping people. This job is his lifeline. While frequently challenging, the job is all he’s got – and he is proud and protective of it. He is a large, powerful man. Over the years, he’s learned how to carry himself to minimize the intimidation factor of his size. He moves slow and exudes a calm warmth. If cornered he can certainly rear up, formidable, but his normal demeanor is more teddy bear than grizzly. FEMALE. Caucasian. 17 years old. Introverted. Artistic temperament. Delicate but capable of exploding. Lost in her own world. Has difficulty interacting and empathizing with others. Otherworldly. Unique. Born with an extreme form of Synesthesia, she interrupts the world around her as a series of tones. As we have words for things (a chair, a cloud), Her mind interprets these things as tones. While she is verbal, even articulate, the lack of precision, the dullness of words drives her further and further into isolation.
