Last night I, along with the lads from The Electric SunKings, had the privilege of being thoroughly mesmerised, transported and being left with our mouths agape at the outstanding musicianship of the Lachy Doley Group. Man, it was an absolute blast at 303 Bar 303. Whoever it was that referred to Lachy as the Hendrix of the Hammond organ I think meant that as an understatement. This man is one cool musician and outstanding entertainer to boot. As the guru used to say, well to paraphrase, if you see the Lachy Doley Group on the billboard, poster or whatever near you, definitely do yourself a favour and collect of blast of some mind blowing, soul stirring music. Man, I am still shaking my head in awe some 12hrs after the gig...as the drummer from The Electric SunKings said.. I dont know to describe that performance, its just WOW!
