Last night I could not fall asleep for anything, I dont know why. I slept past noon today and I dont usually do that. I was wondering what I was going to make of my day, and then my husband came home with car trouble. So I dragged myself outside and looked at his car and saw that one of his hoses was leaking badly and would need to be replaced. We went to AutoZone and picked up the parts, swooped by Abominos for a quick pizza, and came home and ate. After that, we had to go back out to Wal-Mart because I needed channel locks for the hose clamps. While we were there we bought presents for our nephews birthday this weekend. I can tell you, they are going to LOVE these presents. Then, came home and after about an hour, I got the damned hose replaced. Relaxing a bit now following a shower, and then were gonna take the car out for a test ride to make sure the hose is secure and theres no more issues. I didnt get to do what I had planned for the day. In fact, the lack of sleep and sleeping so late pretty much ruined what I had in mind. But I would like to think that I rose to the challenge today. It wasnt what I wanted to do but I didnt feel helpless and lost for a change. Even with my back still in pain and discomfort, I got through something with a minimum of stress and frustration, and it feels pretty good.
