Last night I got to see my favorite band play my favorite album front to back, and then some. I am still trying to find words for how great the evening was. I have seen Pinback 7 or 8 times now, in big venues like The Fox to smallish venues like, my old stomping ground, The High Note, with as many as 6 or 7 members. The version of Pinback I saw last night was a 3 piece (with tracks running through a mackie dl1608) and they were so tight, and simply sounded great. It was the best I have seen them yet. Unfortunately my phone does not do the evening justice. Back in 05 after Pinback played The Highnote as I was cleaning up for the night I came across a Venom pin that had been on Robs guitar strap.
