Last night on DARK Radio, my friend and co-DJ Nate Carney - TopicsExpress

Last night on DARK Radio, my friend and co-DJ Nate Carney introduced the theme for this week: the sub-genre known as Thrash Metal. In addition to briefly explaining what that is, he treated us to both a vintage track and a newer one, the two of which serve as especially good examples of thrash. I couldnt help noticing that he also featured two bands of what used to be known as the Big Four of Thrash. Tonight, Im going to go purely vintage with tracks from the other two of the Big Four. When you combine last nights and tonights, you can see why thrash won many devoted fans among metalheads. Its fast, its furious, and usually it serves up a scorching critique of some aspect of society or of human nature. First up, heres Metallica with Master of Puppets from their 1986 album of the same name.
