Last night we lost a lion of a man. Dan Lansell, my grandfather, passed away after a hard fight with leukemia and lymphoma. He was a wonderful human being, being both a mentor to me and a great friend. While not related by blood, he treated me with all the love and care that one gives to a grandchild, hence why hes always been known as my grandfather. I will always be grateful for that. And I will always be grateful for the happy days he gave to my wonderful Grandma, to whom he married several years ago. Be at peace. Ewig.
