Last weekend: Aligned engine, installed cutlass bearing, prop shaft shaft packing gland...all the stuff involved with motor making boat go. Cut hole for engine raw water intake, sanded and epoxy painted areas around thru-hull holes, Prepped for rudder install - sanded, epoxied, measured, ciphered! Contractor finishing fiberglass work on the deck and gunnels is supposed to be happening this week. Hope to see good progress when I get down to the boat this weekend. Next step is to install rudder and all petcocks! Heres the rudder in garage with assorted pieces parts. Will clean it up and epoxy paint it this next week.
