Less than a week to go now to ALEHOUSE ROCK, the three day musical extravaganza to raise funds for The British Red Cross Typhoon Haiyan Appeal. More than twenty bands and artists will be strutting their stuff at The Old Coach House and The Hearty Goodfellow in Southwell from Fri 31 Jan to Sun 2 Feb. Thanks so much to everyone who has helped setting this up and, most of all, to all the musicians who have been so generous with their time and talent. I have a couple of last minute requests to make and any help with these would be much appreciated. Firstly, in order to achieve the main objective of the event which is, of course, to raise as much money as possible for the appeal, I need a few volunteers to sell wristbands and shake buckets at the two venues. The British Red Cross are providing sealed buckets plus t-shirts and tabards but, unfortunately, their volunteers are needed elsewhere on this particular weekend.
