Let Go, and Lets Go! I woke up today thinking about compassion and kindness . . .such easy things to show, but such difficulty getting there sometimes! Our church is encouraging 90 Days of Compassion . . .reaching out with service projects to help those in need. I dont think we need a title to do this, or even a time frame, and again, I will focus on our STUFF. I encourage everyone today to find something in your home, ONE THING, to give away. I dont mean a bag to be dropped off at a Goodwill store, but an intentional giving of something to another person, with human contact! There are lots of hungry people, someone needs a coat, or a piece of furniture, or an awesome toy, or your extra set of pots and pans, or all those other towels in the linen closet . . . or a prom dress. Let Go of it! And Lets Go! Proverbs 3: 9-10 Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the firstfruits of all your produce; then your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will be bursting with wine.
