Let me speak very plainly and perhaps be offensively frank. The chances of you or a loved one being killed in a terrorist attack is supremely less likely to happen than choking to death on a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. If any of us have been denied our rights, then none of us are free. If you think it is OK for our military, security intelligence...or any director or agent acting on their behalf, to violate the human rights of Americans or foreign nationals...then you are a goddamn coward. You dont respect freedom, and you refuse to pay the price for it. The price for freedom is to accept that you live in a world where people have free agency...being kept safe by removing some peoples rights is the antithesis of liberty. You must accept that everyones privacy and prerogative takes priority over your fear of terrorists attacks. If you think it is cool for infantry to kick down the door of a family home in a far away country...because they are hunting terrorists...you are a cowardly piece of shit. You are less than shit. Anyone who is willing to trade the smallest amount of freedom for security, deserves neither. Let the concept of freedom and the price to have it, sink in for a minute. It requires you to not be a hypocritical pussy. It requires you to be willing to die on your feet with everyones liberty intact. The price of freedom is not cheap.
