Letter By A Bank Staff To Union Leaders: Dear Comrades, With bleeding heart Im sending this email. I cannot digest to see the rights and Futures of my fellow men being sold by none other than some leaders of UFBU. They call themselves as Leadersand Comrades. Hope those fellows do not know the meaning of both. A real Leader should be the First Servant for his followers. A Comrade is one who even dare to give his life for his followers. Let them remember Chequvera, the real leader and comrade, for a moment. Im just a zonal council member of a Public Sector Bank. Nothing more than that. Even I could not digest the way thebankers are treated by each one of this society, Harassments by Managements, Harassments by Customers, Harassments by Government agencies...So on.... Many cashiers cannot even urinate during office hours due to unmanageable crowd.... But how UFBU leaders could forget all that sufferings....and getting ready for a Useless settlement. Mr CHV is openly giving statements to press that There may not be much bargain on Wage front. Who is he to decide on our future? What Com.Murali, the Convenor of UFBU is doing? Whether he want to restrict his job to just issuing circulars? On the other side AIBOA released a circular saying that settlement will be over by Feb 2015. How can AIBOA release such circulars..?.. Who gave that unit such strength to issue such anti-employee circulars? Other units like BEFI, NCBE, NOBO, NOBW, INTUC, AIBOC, INBOC are just keeping silent on our Strike plans when two other elements of UFBU are issuing circulars and statements to silently break the plans. How many more years UFBU is going to be United Less unit. Please tell us leaders. Are you really united? How can you sleep peacefully when a million men are loosing their sleep because of Low Wages, Unimaginable Work load, Inhuman treatment by higher ups, Govt...etc..etc...? How dare a single leader can give press note that There will not much bargain in Wage front?... No one is stopping him... Why? So long we were thinking IBA is Adamant on its stand. But now only it is understood that IBA is adamant only because of the collusion of some UFBU leaders with it.... Leaders.. You know how many Ministries works we bankers are doing?... Only a serving banker can understand that.... AADHAR, LPG, Rural Housing, Urban Housing, Agriculture, Medicalim, Tax collection, Anti Money Laundering, CGTMSE, CERSAI, Education loans, Susidy disbursements, Pension (central and state), Old Age pension, RTE Fund disbursing agents, Salary credit for Govt employees, New Pension System Agents, Insurance Agents, Mutual Fund Agents, Recovery Agents, MSME, Industries Finance, Infrastructure finance, Scholarship disbursing agents, MNREGA payments, TASMAC cash collectors, Cheque clearing, Money supply,etc..etc..etc.. Can any one UFBU leader tell the name of another department which handles atl east 50% of departments which we handle? Can you?... Then why you are not ready to stick to our original demands?. When members are ready... why cant leaders? There are some news spreading among the cadres that the Employees unions are satisfied with 12.5% and ready to sign. If it is true then those leaders will certainly carry the curse of lakhs of innocent employees who believe their leaders are next to God. Let those leaders sit in MNREGA counters before signing the settlement. A 10th qualified teacher is getting more than a Clerk. A lady clerk cannot take rest during mensuration cycle. such an alarming working conditions we are in to. When members are ready for fight... why cant leaders? Through Sub-committees UFBU leaders also agreed to dilute the demands of 5 Days and Regulated working, Mediclaim, Pension etc.. We are Fed up with committees and that too with same IBA and UFBU leaders. 5 DAYS --------- All the departments including courts are working for 5 Days. Why cant you pressurize the IBA to agree for implementation of 5 days and then set up committees. How many more decades you people want ?. We are not a child to celebrate the committees. Only a serving banker can understand that.... REGULATED HOURS ---------------- Regulated working is not just the Cup of Tea of Officers. There are more than 10000 single officer branches in India. Let the leaders go and check at what time a Clerk leave the branch. Let them visit CM branches, AGM branches where even clerks and attenders cannot leave branches below 8 pm. Only a serving banker can understand that.... NEW PENSION SYSTEM ------------------- All the leaders who bargain with IBA are covered by pension. Some UFBU LEADERS are already getting pension. When you all are getting defined pension how easily others can be left to Share market returns. No discrimination in posting, No discrimination in Responsibilities, No discrimination in Risks, Why Not in Pensions also?. Our sufferings can be understood only if your PF money are linked to share markets. Only a serving banker can understand that.... Still many more comrades... For the past 6 months I never spent any meaningful time with my family and friends. My daughter was begging for my presence and affection. I just wanted to implement what UFBU leaders said. But now the same leaders are not bothering about the small persons like me. I cannot beg anymore... You please do whatever you want. Our Cry never reach your ears...We agree we are Dumb. Carry on your service leaders.
