Life has many paths to choose from. It takes a strong person to choose the path less traveled. It doesnt make a person weak if they come to another fork in the road and choose yet another path. It takes courage to take the risks and keep moving. Some wonder why we came back. The opportunity that we chose came at the 11th hour. Im forever grateful to those who continue to support us and root for us and yet terribly saddened by those who should be supportive but choose to relish in the I told you so attitude.Those people make me wonder why we came back at all. Maybe we did make a mistake by coming back to KY. Or maybe Im a better person now for dealing with my issues head on and saying f-you to those who dont believe in me or my family. Ive never asked anyone to agree with my decisions in life. But I never asked for the hell that I have been through and the nasty, thoughtless words that have been spoken to myself and my husband. But I will hold my head high and move forward. Im not sure what life has in store for me. But I refuse to feel guilty for choices I have made just because others have been too afraid to try.
