Life with iPhone Day One: Very nice screen, but it is surrounded by a ridiculously tall case that is very slippery. I can see many, many, many of these having cracked screens because unless it has a case of some kind, it is kinda like picking up a fish. I forgot how limited my options are when arranging my home screens. Coming from Windows Phone 8.1, I already miss my live tiles. But swiping side to side is okay, I could get used to it again I suppose. It isnt horrible, but WP8 and Android definitely have a huge advantage here. Wifi in iOS 8 is messed up. I have to disconnect and reconnect on a regular basis because it just hangs. Same thing on the iPad so I knew that going in, but seriously, how does a company the size of Apple mess up a core feature so badly? Im hoping to try out the camera a bit today. Being a Lumia 1020 owner, this has a huge set of shoes to fill. But we will see how it does.
