Living Waterways staff and volunteers at NWT have spotted some of their spring firsts this week! On several sites along the Seaton Burn we have spotted speckled wood and orange tip butterflies, and the first swifts of the year! We’ve also seen lots of frog and toad tadpoles, bees aplenty and lots of blossoming trees. With the oaks out in leaf and the ash still in bud we predict a great summer for British pollinators!
