Local Natives | Index Festival Featured Artist If you are not familiar with Local Natives you are missing out. They formed in 2005 in Los Angeles and there current lineup consists of Kelcey Ayer (vocals), Taylor Rice (guitar), Ryan Hahn (guitar), Matt Frazier (drums), Nik Ewing (bass). They write unashamedly emotional songs that balance rousing melodies with lyrics and orchestration thick enough to dig a hole and burrow yourself inside. Their harmonies are beyond awesome and awe-inspiring! You pretty much owe it to yourself to see them in person! They perform on the Goose Island outdoor stage on Sunday, the 28th at 8:45pm.
