Lonesome Dove Equestrian Center 6137 Old Buckingham Rd Powhatan, Virginia 23139 Dear Sir or Madam: Please allow me a few minutes of your time to introduce you to a Veteran therapeutic riding program “Where Veterans Ride Again”. LDEC places Veterans with disabilities on horseback which has therapeutic benefits free of charge to the Veterans or their families. LDEC is supported only by public donations. LDEC is a 501-c-3 organization since 2008. There are no salaries only Volunteers. LDEC placed on horseback over 1175 Veterans since conception. Riding helps Veterans regain Courage, Confidence, Hope and Honor LDEC is having our 5th annual Fundraiser Sept 14, 2013. The fund raiser includes Brunswick Stew by the Stew Masters of Brunswick County, Horse Shoe Tournaments, Two Local Bands, Demonstrations, a Silent Auction and more. If you would like to participate is helping us serve Veterans who proudly served our Country you can in several ways. 1. Donate items to the Silent Auction 2. Reserve a 10x10 Vendor space for $100 during fundraiser 3. Donate $100 and furnish your business Banner to be placed in our riding arena for 1 year 4. Provide Lunches on the Veteran riding days 5.
