Look at this beauty! This is Ganja-style Azerbaijani baklava (Ganja is a city in Azerbaijan). Made by Tahmina Ahmadova and her mom in Ganja. This baklava is different from the other commonly known variety as it is baked in a huge tray set over hot embers, is stuffed with meticulously peeled walnuts (have to be super white!), and brushed with golden glaze and sprinkled with poppy seeds.
