Looking for Grave When someone die even if we believe that he - TopicsExpress

Looking for Grave When someone die even if we believe that he is saved and soul and spirit with the Lord, we need to bury his body. Believing that someone is with the Lord does not free us from the daily pain of sorrow and still missing his bodily presence. Itamar our son die on 17/7 only last week we heard that the identified his body. We moved recently to live in a small village near our city. 2000 people . one catholic old church and very small Dutch reform church. After it was know the Itamar died in the airplane crash. The local Dutch reform pastor visited our home. He knew us because Itamar and his daughter went to the same school. He told me that looked once to our web site and know little bit what I am teaching. We spoke little bit about what happened and during the conversation he offer me his church building in case I need a place for the funeral . In mean time I asked him little bit about his belief because many dutch reformed preachers of our day hardly belief that Jesus Christ is God or that salvation is only through His blood by grace alone. However I was happy to know that this preacher is a saved person. During our conversation he ask me if I thought about where I would like to bury Itamar ? at that moment we did not have the body yet so I told him that I do not know yet. Probably at the municipal cemetery I told him. Most people in Holland I think do not bury their loved one but doing cremation. This pastor came to tell me that his church members are offering me to use their grave yard and bury Itamar in the way that suitable to my belief of bible understanding. We told him that we appreciated is offer and thank the Lord for it. Few days later we made appointment with one of the members of that church to visit the church grave yard and look for a place for Itamar. As we are looking I started to speak with this man about his belief and to make sure that he is a saved person. I ask him how come you let us bury Itamar at your church grave yard? Dutch reform grave yard is only to members of the Dutch reform church. We are not members of any local church and also not of the Dutch reform. My wife born and baptized as a child according to the Dutch reform belief, but after she learn about the grace gospel and we got marry. She took her membership back. When this pastor ask his church members if they are willing to accept Itamar body in their grave yard it was this man that told the pastor that he cannot find in the Bible any reason to refuse. This man put the word of God above his church regulations or constitutions. This man understand what is the real true one church. I thank the Lord for this open door. Last month was not easy for us and this help came at the right time. Next week 21/8 we going to bury Itamar and close this period of 5 weeks from the moment of the airplain crash. We want to go further with our life. There is so much to do. Teaching the word and helping other to understand the life after death through our Lord Jesus Christ death on the cross for our sins. Thank you for all your prayers
