JOB PROFILE Designation: Site Project Head ( AGM/DGM) Number of Position - 1 Location: : Pandaul (Bihar) Reports to: GM Projects during project commissioning. On commissioning of production to Operations Head. Required Experience: Minimum of 15 years Required Qualification: BE / B Tech in Production / Mechanical Engineering preferably with MBA, with relevant experience of around 15 years Age: Between 38-46 yrs JOB DESCRIPTION The position is responsible for handling the Project for starting of a new plant. This includes erection & commissioning; manpower hiring & their deployment. He needs to drive the Project in the cost effective manner within decided timelines. He’ll take over the plant as Unit Head & will be responsible for complete operations of the unit. His responsibility includes overall Operations for running the plant and producing the best quality product with optimum utilization of resources. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DELIVERABLES • Responsible for overall responsibility of handling the Project. • Responsible for plant erection & commissioning. • Responsible for Plant Operations Production, Maintenance & Quality. • Good Shop-floor exposure, workers handling, and manpower management. • Exposure / Knowledge of various techniques / concepts of Quality Control tools viz. – ISO 9001, 7QC, Six Sigma. • Exposure towards TPM implementation / 5S / Kaizen. • Should have focus on Cost Management and Budgeting / Inventory Control. • Exposure towards Process Planning and Control (PPC), MIS, Inventory Management. • Responsible for Coaching, feedback and development of Subordinates & Plant personnel. • Should be a Go-getter and Trouble Shooter. To ensure ECM (Energy Conservation Management) practices at the plant. • To ensure EHS (Environment Health Safety) practices at all the plant. • To manage operations budget. • To co ordinate with plant heads for MIS Planning. • To collate data for operations LTP/monthly EMS/Quarterly Progress • Join & work in CFTs on Six Sigma initiatives. • To analyze Plant MIS and evolve initiatives for manufacturing excellence, cost reduction, and continuous improvement. KEY SKILLS/COMPETENCIES: • Knowledge of operations, manufacturing excellence. • Exposure in Project Planning and execution. • Perseverance to take on the challenges. • High-level leadership and decision-making skills. • Able to motivate, influence, and train people. • Able to interact with all professionals of Plant Management. • Should be able to liaison with the state government. • Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills. • Proficiency in MS Word, Power point, Excel, Projects. • Knowledge in SAP • High level of integrity required.
